Canada is home to over 30,000 lakes and rivers, so swimming to beat the heat this summer is a no brainer. This is free and fun activity can be done with your family and allows you to burn more calories then swimming in a pool! Easy on your joints and super relaxing- swimming is by far one of my favourite activities. I love to go for a jog at my cottage and then run into the lake (shoes off of course!). Cleans my gym clothes too!
