How does your business help entrepreneurs and professional women?
In the 11 years since starting Mabel’s Labels, I have learned a lot. I can speak to facing challenges with a growing business, how to deal with business partners, how to remain innovative, know your market, and connect with customers. I look forward to sharing my tips around being an effective spokesperson and how to leverage your personal brand to help your professional brand.
What are you passionate about in your business and what steps are you taking to make it profitable?
I’m most passionate about our community of loyal customers, parents, bloggers and the online space. I firmly believe that customers want to feel connected to the brands they support. Our growth and profitability are proof that through amazing customer service and community, you create brand ambassadors, which translates into profit.
What do you hope conference attendees will take away from hearing you speak at our conference?
I will give tips about how to create a great personal brand as a spokesperson, and how you can use this to elevate your business. I will talk through simple strategies and give some material for attendees to take away that will help them become a stronger personal brand and spokesperson.
What is your favourite business tool
I would say social media is my favourite business tool. It allows us to connect and interact with our customers, create community and it’s a heck of a lot of fun! To be able to respond to customers in real time and engage with them feels great while also helping the bottom line.
